Refreshing coconut lime 7-Up drink with ice, fresh lime and bubbles in a clear glass

This Coconut Lime 7-Up Drink is a quick, refreshing mix of coconut water and lemon-lime soda. Fresh lime is muddled right in the glass before ice, coconut water and 7-Up are added, so every sip has a bright citrus flavor and plenty of fizz.

Why You’ll Love This Coconut Lime Drink

It takes about five minutes, uses just a few simple ingredients and makes one easy glass. Coconut water keeps the drink light, while 7-Up adds sweetness and bubbles. A tiny pinch of black salt is optional if you want a slightly tangy, savory finish.

Coconut Lime 7-Up Drink

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh lime slices
  • Ice, as needed
  • ½ cup coconut water
  • ¾ cup 7-Up
  • Tiny pinch black salt, optional

Instructions

  1. Muddle the lime: Add 2 lime slices to a glass and gently crush them with a muddler to release the juice and citrus oils.
  2. Add ice: Fill the glass with ice.
  3. Add coconut water: Pour in ½ cup coconut water.
  4. Add 7-Up: Pour in ¾ cup 7-Up.
  5. Finish: Stir gently and serve right away. Add a tiny pinch of black salt if desired.

Recipe Notes

Muddle gently: Press the lime slices just enough to release their juice. Crushing the peel too aggressively can make the drink taste bitter.

Keep the fizz: Add the 7-Up last and stir gently so the drink stays bubbly.

Black salt: It is completely optional. Start with only a tiny pinch because the flavor can become strong quickly.

Serve immediately: This drink tastes best right after mixing, while the ice is cold and the soda is still fizzy.
